Harley-Davidson of Bloomington/Do-Rock Racing Rider Jeff Stevens finished the 2010 AHDRA season atop the national points standings in the Screamin’ Eagle, V-Rod Destroyer class.
“We got off to a great start early in the season with some VRD wins and runner-up finishes”, said Stevens. “With some luck, we set new 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile national records at Bella Rose, Louisiana and those points helped too. Our struggles came in the second half of the season, but we kept focused on winning rounds and ended the year with another national championship.”
“My crew chief and friend, Richard Hankins did his usual exceptional job of tuning, providing me a competitive bike that finished every race,” added Jeff. “Rich has worked incredibly hard to help win this championship and I am grateful to have someone of his caliber as a teammate. It was definitely a team effort.”
V-Rod Destroyer class highlights for the Harley-Davidson of Bloomington/Do-Rock Racing team include; four victories, three runner-ups, three number one qualifiers, and setting three AHDRA national records at No Problem Raceway in Louisiana – 1/4 and 1/8 mile E.T. and 1/8 MPH.
Stevens, the 2009 AHDRA Super Gas National Champion, finished the season ranked fourth in points in the SG class for 2010.
