MIROCK Superbike Series officials have announced that the Louis Concrete and Steel Company of High Point, NC, have entered into an agreement to sponsor a new Index Class, running off of a 4.60 Index. The 4.60 class will qualify on Saturday at each MIROCK event with eliminations on Sunday. Class rules and purse structure can be found at mirockracing.com.
Bobby Hoover, of Bobby Hoover Racing and proprietor of Louis Concrete and Steel, made the announcement in advance of the nine-race 2013 Mickey Thompson Tires MIROCK Superbike Series. “As part of the popular Harley Nitro Pro Dragster crowd, we are always looking for new venues in which to compete,” according to Hoover. “We are very excited about the new pro tree index class that appeals to Pro Mods, Pro Gassers, Funny Bikes and a variety of fast racing motorcycles that are capable of running the 1/8 mile in 4.60 seconds. We are looking forward to running the MIROCK Superbike Series that kicks off at Rockingham Dragway on March 22-24 for the FBR Shop Spring Bike Open”.
