The final night of the inaugural Nitro Jam Nationals in Spokane, Wash., presented by Good Vibrations, brought with it fast E.T.s and speeds as every professional class winner posted their quickest times in the final round of eliminations to bring home an Ironman trophy.
The Nitro Harley class made a rare appearance in the Northwestern U.S. over the weekend. Randal Andras went up against Mike Pelrine in the final round of the Nitro Jam Nationals presented by Good Vibrations. Pelrine’s dominant weekend continued as he was declared the winner with a 6.492 second run at 216.60 mph against Andras’ 6.891 at 199.82 mph.
The Nitro Jam Nationals presented by Good Vibrations marked the first trip to the Northwestern U.S. for IHRA’s national series. Spectators filled the stands to witness the event that featured professional and sportsman racing at Spokane County Raceway. Summit sportsman racing will continue tomorrow as a stand-alone day of nonstop racing.
