Atco Raceway released the following statement on the U.S. Motorcycle Nationals scheduled for Sept. 2-4, – “Due to the recent shift in weather we have decided to make an early call in order to give all of our bike racers time to make alternate plans. We are currently looking at a 60-70% chance of rain both Saturday and Sunday with even more concerning sustained winds at 25-30 mph. While we were very excited to host the Orient Express Motorcycle US Nationals and are looking forward to September 2017, we feel it is in the best interest of the racers, vendors and spectators to make the call now. We will still hold the “early bird” testing session for tomorrow. Gates will open at 9am and racing will begin around 10am. All bikes and cars are welcome to attend. We apologize for all inconveniences this causes and look forwarded to seeing you all next year. Thank you for your cooperation and support.”
