Day one of the inaugural Nitro Jam Nationals presented by Good Vibrations at Spokane County Raceway was a success. The track had the largest Friday night crowd to date as people came out to watch two rounds of qualifying. The on-track action will continue Saturday with another round of qualifying and eliminations.
Mike Pelrine from Ft. Saskatchewan, Alberta was the dominant force in the Nitro Harley class. He topped the qualifying sessions with a 6.526 second run at 217.33 mph on the quarter-mile drag strip. Points leader, Randal Andras, sits second with a 6.747 second run at 196.20 mph.
