Vantine plans to run the motorcycle at all of the 2018 races and hand it over to a new owner at the end of the season.
In the meantime work has begun at Larry McBride’s Cycle Specialist shop to build Vantine a motorcycle very similar to McBride’s world-record-holding “Star.”
As the team comments, it is their hope that somebody from the United States purchases the bike and keeps it in competition.
