Jianna Salinas and Jimmy Underdahl, both Pro Stock Motorcycle riders for Scrappers Racing, will sit out the remaining events of the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series.
As team owner, Salinas made the decision to end her season three races early to prepare for the 2022 season. Both riders will return to their seats next season, in the meantime working on ways to improve performance and put together a competitive program for the upcoming season.
“While this decision was not made lightly, I feel that this is the best decision for the future success of our team. I am proud of the progress my team and I have made this season and we are looking forward to coming back stronger next season,” Salinas commented on the choice to extend the off season.
