Ahead of this weekend’s round two of the 2024/2025 ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship, the Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) is pleased to announce Lectron Australia as the naming rights partner for the Competition Bike bracket.
Lectron Australia products are distributed in Australia by Rob Cassar’s Ballistic Performance Parts, which is also the naming rights sponsor of the Modified Bike bracket.
“Lectron Australia has been manufacturing industry-leading carburetted fuel systems since 1974,” explained the former Top Fuel Motorcycle and Competition Bike champion.
“We are very proud to be an official Australian distributor of this impressive brand, offering race-winning carbies for a wide array of applications from Pro Stock all the way to 65cc Junior Motorcross.
“Obviously Competition Bike is a bracket close to my heart as a former champion and regular competitor, so we are very pleased that we can extend our support within the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship to this bracket with Lectron Australia.”
ANDRA Chief Executive Officer, Tim McAvaney, said he was excited to see Lectron Australia Competition Bike hitting the track at Mildura’s Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip this weekend for the Sunset Nationals (September 21-22).
“We are so pleased to welcome Lectron Australia to the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship in time for the Sunset Nationals,” McAvaney said.
“Ballistic Performance Parts and Lectron Australia offer leading products to Australia’s motorsport landscape and thank them for their support of our series and the Modified Bike and Competition Bike brackets.”
