NHRA Camping World Pro Stock Motorcycle National Event Champion and owner of Flyin Ryan Racing, Ryan Oehler announces Wednesday he will partner with El Bandido Yankee Tequila for the remaining of the 2022 season with the debut of the partnership at the weekend’s 42nd annual Dodge Power Brokers NHRA Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway.
“We are thrilled to welcome El Bandido Yankee Tequila to professional drag racing,” Oehler said. “Our strategic alliance with the brand will aid in distribution efforts across the remaining 2022 NHRA National event stops as well as bring brand awareness through our racing initiatives on track.”
El Bandido Yankee Tequila has two product offerings, a Blanco and Reposado tequila with a third product, Tequila Anejo hitting the market soon. The branding and label reflect its deep ties to the renowned Jalisco (Mexico) region, along with its playful depiction of a mysterious bandido who’s always ready to chase down fun and raise a glass in celebration.
With founder Jim Bob Morris, former NFL player and partner Chris Chelios three-time Stanley cup hall of fame NHL alumni, sports are in the brand’s DNA. “We view this as a key sponsorship that can both help propel the great tradition of NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Racing, and also to spotlight El Bandido Tequila in the United States, and beyond”. “The marriage of these two great brands will find growth as we creatively align and cross promote. A special Flyin’ Ryan meet and greet presented by El Bandido Yankee Tequila will take place Thursday July 14 at Hooters Restaurant located at 2610 S Parker Rd, Aurora, CO 80014 from 6pm-8pm MT. NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series qualifying will feature two rounds at 3:30 and 7:00 p.m. MT on Friday, July 15 and the final two rounds of qualifying on Saturday, July 16 at 2:30 and 6 p.m. Final eliminations are scheduled for 11 a.m. MT on Sunday, July 17. Television coverage includes qualifying action on FS1 at 10:00 p.m. ET on Friday, 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, and then eliminations on FOX at 4 p.m. ET Sunday.
