Motorcycles crashes at the famous Tail of The Dragon near Deals Gap, NC and Smokey Mountain National park are very common. In this video we give you a tour of the Dragon’s Tail and explore how it can be so very enjoyable, but also list how the primary reasons why so many riders get in trouble and suffer street bike crashes on this twisty piece of roadway. The Dragon is 318 curves in 11 miles and can be a lot of fun if the correct approach is taken. We catch up with two stroke riders and a Gen 3 Hayabusa rider to get their take on how to avoid Tail of the Dragon accidents.
