There is sad news to report today on CycleDrag.com as one of the greatest drag bike racers of all-time, 12-time national champion and two-time NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle winner Tony Mullen has told us that he has sold both of his motorcycles, including his brand new, immaculate 4.60 Suzuki and plans to step away from the sport due to what the racer says is extreme frustration and disappointment.
This comes after the Florida-based rider won three consecutive Man Cup Grothus Dragbikes 4.60 championships. Mullen was one of the most successful racers in the history AMA ProStar. After a hiatus he returned to the sport in 2013 to compete exclusively on the Man Cup tour.
Cycledrag is working to find out more behind the unexpected departure of one of Man Cup’s most dedicated racers. We hope the window to return is there someday for Mullen, and even if it’s not please join us in wishing Mullen congrats on what was a magnificent career.
