Here is one you have to see to believe. Motorcycle drag racing can be very tough on parts, especially when you have more than 500 horsepower and burn about a pound and a half of nitrous oxide on each run. Take a look at the absolute carnage in between multi-time champion Eric McKinney’s frame rails. On its very first pass teh crankshaft failed and starting sawing open the engine. It made for a scary moment on the starting as onlookers watched carefully to make sure McKinney was able to keep the bike upright. The good news is, despite the wild ride, McKinney was unharmed on the run. The engine was a much different story. It was a costly mishap. As Scott McKinney says in teh video below, “Walmart doesn’t sell em.”
