Not to be outdone by big brother MPS Racing Pro ET, Liska Racing Street ET riders will be vying for a cool five thousand dollars to win at the 44 th annual FuelTech World Finals presented by Wiseco. That is correct, Liska Racing Street ET will showcase a Five Thousand dollar to win purse! This is just the latest of many event highlights being put together by ManCup Principal Jay Regan and SGMP General Manager Nelson Hoyos trying to cap off a challenging 2020 race season with a real bang!
“Just as in MPS Racing Pro ET, the FuelTech World Finals presented by Wiseco will feature just one Liska Racing Street ET race rather than our traditional Saturday/Sunday two separate race format. This change will give the racers at the Finals two time runs as well as first round of eliminations across Saturday. Sunday will begin with round two of the elimination process and work down to the point where we crown an event champion. And remember, Liska Racing Street ET, and all ManCup classes, will feature double points due to the Covid-19 abbreviated season.”
stated Regan. South Georgia Motorsports Park General Manager Nelson Hoyos was instrumental in both the ET classes big purse increases.
“SGMP and ManCup have a solid decade long relationship. Jay and I sat down and discussed how we could really add some splash plays to the Finals and both felt ramping up the ET categories to big money levels would be priority one to send off this 2020 season in record setting fashion.” We certainly hope that with these huge purses in both MPS Racing Pro ET, as well as Liska Racing Street ET, that racers will make the trip to SGMP for the BIG ONE in hope of really being able to stuff that Christmas stocking right!” concluded Hoyos.
